Who We Are

An interdenominational ministry on a mission to reach the unreached.

We serve in South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, training and equipping missionaries for practical ministry while providing holistic care and support wherever it is needed.

Our vision is to reach the unreached with the good news of the Kingdom of God. We fulfill this mission by training, equipping, and empowering missionaries for practical ministry and providing holistic care and support wherever it is needed.

Our Founders

The story behind Africa Compassion Mission.

Pastors Christopher & Susan Kasii
Founders, Africa Compassion Mission
Pastors Christopher & Susan Kasii

Pastor Christopher and Pastor Susan Kasii founded Africa Compassion Mission (ACM) from a shared calling to reach the unreached and serve communities with the love and compassion of Christ. Their journey began with a deep burden to see people encounter the hope of the Gospel, while also responding to the practical challenges affecting their daily lives. From the beginning, ACM was built on the belief that ministry is not only about sharing God’s Word, but also about demonstrating His love through tangible acts of service, care, and compassion. What started as a small outreach has grown into a regional ministry serving across Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania. Over the years, ACM has expanded its work through missionary training, leadership development, community outreach, family strengthening initiatives, child sponsorship, and support for vulnerable members of society. Through these efforts, the ministry continues to equip individuals and communities to experience spiritual growth, restoration, and transformation. Today, ACM remains anchored in the vision that inspired its founders: to reach those who have not yet heard, to equip those called to serve, and to bring hope where it is needed most. Guided by faith, compassion, and a commitment to practical ministry, ACM continues to partner with churches, missionaries, and communities to see lives transformed through the love of Christ.

What Makes Us Distinct

Interdenominational, practical, and holistic in how we serve.

Three commitments shape everything ACM does across Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and Tanzania.

Interdenominational

We work across church traditions with a single, shared burden — to reach the unreached with the good news of the Kingdom of God.

Practically Equipped

We train and equip missionaries for hands-on ministry in the communities they already belong to, from Anchored to our internship program.

Holistic Care

Ministry here means more than the pulpit — it means nutrition, medical support, school fees, and fellowship for the whole person.

Anchored Bible Training Institute (ABTI)

Equipping Leaders for Effective Ministry

The Anchored Bible Training Institute (ABTI) is an accelerated ministry training program designed to equip Christians for practical, Spirit-led service. Through the Christian Ministry Certificate, ABTI provides accessible, biblically grounded training for individuals actively serving in churches and Christian ministries.

Whether you are a pastor, ministry leader, volunteer, or emerging servant of God, ABTI is committed to helping you grow in knowledge, character, and ministry effectiveness.

Program Overview

The Christian Ministry Certificate is an accelerated 19-credit-hour program consisting of:

* Three days of classroom instruction
* Two days of supervised ministry practicum

This flexible format allows churches to provide quality ministry training for their workers without requiring long-term residential study.

Admission Requirements

ABTI is designed to be accessible to those called into ministry.

Applicants do not need formal academic qualifications to enroll. However, participants should be actively serving in a recognised Christian ministry or local church and demonstrate a commitment to serving God faithfully.

Our Purpose

The purpose of Anchored Bible Training Institute is to:

- Teach biblical truth with clarity and faithfulness.
- Train believers for practical Christian ministry.
- Equip Holy Spirit-inspired leaders for effective service.
- Mentor servants of God toward lifelong spiritual growth and faithful leadership.

Our Goals

Through every course and ministry experience, ABTI seeks to help believers:

- Grow continually in spiritual maturity.
- Develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Gain a richer understanding of God’s Word.
- Be equipped both in biblical knowledge and practical ministry.
- Become disciple-makers who faithfully multiply other disciples, following the example of Christ.

Our Training Philosophy

ABTI models its ministry training after the example of Jesus and His disciples (Matthew 10:16-20).

Jesus demonstrated a pattern of ministry that remains relevant today:

1. He called people to follow Him.
2. He nurtured and strengthened their faith.
3. He equipped them through both teaching and practical ministry experience.
4. He sent them out to make disciples who would continue His mission.

In the same way, ABTI combines classroom instruction with practical ministry experience, ensuring that learning is lived out in service.

Our Foundation Scripture

“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)

This verse reminds us that every believer has been intentionally created and called by God for a life of meaningful service. Our mission is to help each student discover that calling and faithfully walk in it.

Women's Ministry

Africa Compassion Mission (ACM) is committed to encouraging, equipping, and empowering women to grow in faith, discover their God-given purpose, and become agents of transformation in their families, churches, and communities. Through women’s conferences, discipleship gatherings, mentorship, and fellowship, we create spaces where women can be strengthened spiritually, supported practically, and encouraged in their journey of faith.

These gatherings focus on biblical teaching, spiritual growth, personal development, family relationships, leadership, and the unique challenges women face in their homes, communities, and places of service. Through prayer, worship, teaching, and meaningful connection, women are encouraged to build deeper relationships with God, develop their gifts, and support one another through every season of life.

ACM believes that empowered women strengthen families, churches, and communities. By investing in women’s spiritual and personal growth, we seek to raise Christ-centred women who lead with wisdom, serve with compassion, and positively influence generations to come.

Strengthening women in faith, empowering them for purpose, and equipping them to transform their communities.

Student and Youth Ministry

Africa Compassion Mission (ACM) is committed to engaging young people in schools, colleges, and tertiary institutions with the Word of God, equipping them to become a generation grounded in faith, purpose, and integrity. Through outreach programs, discipleship, mentorship, and meaningful conversations, we seek to guide young people as they navigate the challenges and opportunities of today’s world.

Our ministry among students focuses on nurturing spiritual growth while encouraging excellence in education, personal responsibility, hard work, and positive contribution to society. We believe that young people are not only the leaders of tomorrow but also important agents of transformation today.

By providing biblical guidance, encouragement, and practical support, ACM seeks to raise a healthy, resilient, and purpose-driven generation that reflects Christ’s values in their homes, communities, workplaces, and future leadership roles. We are passionate about seeing young people discover their identity, develop their gifts, and use their lives to make a lasting impact.

Investing in young lives today to build a generation of faith, character, and purpose.

Elderly Care and Community Support

Africa Compassion Mission (ACM) is committed to restoring dignity and hope among the elderly by providing compassionate care, practical support, and meaningful fellowship. We recognize that many older members of our communities face challenges such as limited access to nutritious food, healthcare, and basic necessities, and we seek to respond with love, respect, and practical assistance.

Through elderly care initiatives, ACM provides nutritional support, medical assistance, and opportunities for fellowship that help reduce isolation and strengthen the wellbeing of senior citizens. We believe that every person deserves to be valued, cared for, and treated with dignity regardless of age or circumstance.

As part of our commitment to improving quality of life, ACM also provides solar lamps to elderly individuals and vulnerable households, bringing safe and reliable lighting to homes that may have limited access to electricity. These simple but transformative resources help families extend their daily activities into the evening, improve safety, support learning, and reduce reliance on harmful lighting alternatives.

Through these efforts, ACM seeks to demonstrate Christ’s compassion by caring for both the spiritual and practical needs of the elderly and vulnerable members of our communities.

Restoring dignity, bringing hope, and sharing the compassion of Christ with those who have served their communities for generations.

Child Sponsorship and Education Support

Africa Compassion Mission (ACM) is committed to helping vulnerable children access education and the opportunities they need to build a brighter future. Through our child sponsorship program, we connect children in need with compassionate sponsors who provide support for essential needs such as school fees, uniforms, learning materials, and other basic necessities.

We believe that education is a powerful tool for breaking cycles of poverty and empowering children to reach their God-given potential. By removing barriers that prevent children from attending school, we help create an environment where they can learn, grow, develop their talents, and pursue their dreams.

Beyond financial support, ACM seeks to ensure that sponsored children receive encouragement, care, and guidance as they journey through their education. We work to strengthen the connection between sponsors and children, creating relationships built on compassion, hope, and shared commitment to a child’s wellbeing.

Through child sponsorship, ACM demonstrates Christ’s love by investing in the lives of children and helping build a generation equipped with knowledge, character, and purpose.

Giving children hope, opening doors through education, and nurturing futures filled with promise.

Leadership Development and Ministry Training

Africa Compassion Mission (ACM) is committed to developing competent, Christ-centred leaders who are equipped to serve with wisdom, humility, and integrity. Through practical ministry exposure, mentorship, discipleship, and hands-on experience, we prepare emerging leaders to respond effectively to the spiritual and practical needs of the communities they serve.

Our leadership development programs combine biblical foundations with real-world ministry experience, enabling participants to grow in character, strengthen their leadership abilities, and develop the skills needed for effective service. We believe that strong leadership is essential for healthy churches, transformed communities, and sustainable ministry impact.

By investing in current and future leaders, ACM seeks to raise a generation of servants who lead with compassion, uphold biblical truth, and inspire others to make a difference in their communities and beyond.

Equipping leaders who serve with faith, wisdom, and compassion to impact generations.
